Marcel Marcel

Marcel Marcel is a dedicated immigration attorney with a personal connection to the complexities of U.S. immigration law. Born and raised in Denmark, Mr. Marcel experienced firsthand the challenges and nuances of obtaining U.S. citizenship. His experiences inspired him to dedicate his career to assisting others in achieving their American dream.

Following his naturalization, Mr. Marcel served in the U.S. Army, including a year-long hardship tour at the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) in South Korea. His military service instilled in him a strong sense of discipline, resilience, and commitment—qualities that continue to define his approach to legal advocacy.

He transitioned from the U.S. Army to law school where he earned his Juris Doctor from Barry University School of Law and an LL.M. (with Honors) from Golden Gate School of Law. In 2016, he was sworn in as a member of the United States Supreme Court Bar.

With a vision to provide even more personalized and client-focused legal services, Mr. Marcel founded his own immigration firm in Washington, DC. Since its inception, his firm has been committed to delivering high-quality legal representation tailored to the unique needs of each client. Mr. Marcel takes great pride in guiding individuals, families, and businesses through the often-daunting immigration process with clarity and confidence.

Eugene F. Chay

With nearly 30 years of legal experience, Eugene has cultivated a distinguished career that spans corporate representation, public interest advocacy, and leadership within the legal profession, having previously served as the president of the Asian Pacific American Bar Association of the Greater Washington, DC Area. 

Eugene’s entry into immigration law was a deeply personal journey. His first experience in the field came when he successfully handled his wife’s green card application and subsequent naturalization process. This experience gave him a firsthand understanding of the complexities and emotional weight of immigration proceedings, igniting a passion for helping individuals and families navigate the U.S. immigration system. Today, he brings both legal expertise and personal insight to his immigration practice, ensuring that his clients receive compassionate and strategic representation.

Throughout his career, Eugene has been guided by a steadfast commitment to excellence and justice. Over the years, his practice has included intellectual property litigation, government investigations, insurance defense, consumer class actions, and championing social justice causes on behalf of underserved populations. But whether he is representing Fortune 500 corporate clients or marginalized, underserved communities, he approaches every case with the same level of diligence, dedication, and excellence. 

Eugene received his J.D. from the American University, Washington College of Law where he was on the editorial board of the Law Review. He also received his M.A. from Johns Hopkins University and his B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania.

Eugene is fluent in Korean, having spent the latter half of his childhood in Korea after being born in the United States. He views his experiences growing up in Korea with great affection, and considers both Seoul and Boston to be his hometowns. 

Eugene is a member of the District of Columbia bar, and is also admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, the Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, and the Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit.
